astro junkie | Hello: I was hoping the OTHER thread was going to be about this, so I decided to start it myself... 1) Which signs do you think have gay energy? 2) Aprodite said a good question for Linda would be if "gaydar" exists. If yes, can you explain this? 3) My own twisted take on this subject... If you think you possess "gaydar", who do you think is FAILING MISERABLY at trying to cover up their "gayness". For me: 1) In both males & females - Aquarius, Gemini, and Pisces 2) Yes 3) Al Gore! BUSTED My gaydar is usually right on, since I'm half-breed (hee hee) .gloria ------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness... |
dorkus_malorkus | 1)Libra 2)Um, sure.... 3)Well, everyone already knows now, sure, but remember when George Michael was in Wham and he wore those little neon shorts and stuff, how could people not have seen that coming?! |
juniperb | I have no gaydar. I`m dense as a box of rocks I guess. It goes right over my head as I never notice it unless it`s pointed out to me. It just never occurs to me to lable people. Hmmm, I guess I see the love/commaraderie (sp) and stop there. So I`d be the wrong choice to guess someones hidden sexuality. ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot |
astro junkie | Juni: Gaydar is similar to the feeling you get when you know someone is attracted to you. It's not a label. It's a vibe. And gay energy is similar to what artists usually possess. A merging of male & female vibes. Gaydar is a good thing to have. That way your date doesn't end up taking you to Jerry Springer to tell you they are really a ..... .gloria ------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness... |
Aphrodite | 1) Which signs do you think have gay energy? All signs. 2) Aprodite said a good question for Linda would be if "gaydar" exists. If yes, can you explain this? A sense of just "knowing." Like when you're on the bus staring out the window, and you "know" who is looking at you . . . so you turn and look directly back at them. Scare the beejezus out of some folks 3) My own twisted take on this subject... If you think you possess "gaydar", who do you think is FAILING MISERABLY at trying to cover up their "gayness". Don't know. |
juniperb | Good info!! The ying and yang ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot |
trillian | Gotta agree with Aphrodite on this, as I don't think any one sign is predisposed to homosexuality. Sure, 'gaydar' exists. Just like having a psychic experience, intuitiveness, etc. Failing miserably? Dunno...hope they come out of the closet soon though. I have a friend or two to whom this applies. I have many homosexual friends, some of whom aren't yet comfortable with themselves.

astro junkie | Trillian: NO!!! Not HOMOSEXUALITY. Gay ENERGY.... Not the same thing at all... .gloria ------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness... |
trillian | My answer remains the same: all signs. |
juniperb | Where did the word 'gaydar' come from ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot |
astro junkie | Cool Trillian, as long as you know what I meant by gay "energy"... Juniperb: Like the word "radar". You sense when someone, (or I should say someone ELSE) is gay. For example, if a married man doesn't make it known he goes the other way too, anyone with gaydar will know. It's like a vibe. .gloria ------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness... |
